Dr. Phillip Fry specializes in utilizing Excel spreadsheet modeling to forecast growth and minimize the risk of business decision-making. Since 1988, he has taught MBA and undergraduate courses in the College of Business and Economics at Boise State University. Dr. Fry received his B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Arkansas, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Louisiana State University.
In addition to business decision-making, his research and teaching interests include operations management, business statistics, demand forecasting, supply chain inventory management, and supply chain transportation issues. Dr. Fry provides seminars and consulting for numerous companies, among them Boise Cascade Corporation, Hewlett-Packard, J. R. Simplot Company, United Water of Idaho, Woodgrain Millwork, Idaho Power, Boise City and Micron Electronics. He has co-authored university level text books and his research has appeared in the European Journal of Research, the Decision Science Journal of Innovative Education and the Production and Inventory Management Journal.
